I hope you find value in the content.
Recipe of the Week
Looking for an alcohol-free option to serve this holiday season? Try the Pomegranate, Lime, & Ginger Mocktail. It’s sweet, tart, and completely refreshing. Cheers!
Christmas List
Did you write a Christmas List this year? I typically ask for practical things that I would buy myself anyway. This year, I allowed myself to have fun and put together a list of things I wanted vs needed. Need a little inspiration? Here are a few things on my list:
Get Untamed: Journal (How to Quit Pleasing & Start Living)
Flora & Stone Massage Therapy Gift Certificate
Paleo Cooking with Your Air Fryer Cookbook
Water Avenue Coffee Company: Wonderland Winter Brew
Please, Santa! I’ve been good this year! xoxo
Real Talk
The Holiday Season is so whimsical and exciting.
And, it can also feel heavy with expectations. You might be feeling overwhelmed, sad, lonely, nervous, and a lot of other challenging emotions.
Please know that you are not alone. What you’re feeling is a shared human experience. This is a tough time for many people.
I encourage you to wrap yourself in kindness, grace, and compassion. Yes, our family and friends matter, AND, we matter, too.
You are important, precious, and deeply loved.
Consider This…
Earlier this week, I listened to an episode of the “We Can Do Hard Things” podcast by Glennon Doyle. Dr. Brene Brown was her guest. They had a great conversation about intentionally accepting (and declining) invitations. Dr. Brene Brown encouraged us to ask ourselves the following questions when considering an opportunity:
Do I want to do it?
Is there joy in it?
Let’s commit to doing more things that we’ll look forward to and enjoy as we move into the new year.
Events
Can you believe that we participated in 72 events in 2021, and we’re down to our last 3?! I absolutely LOVE events, but will enjoy spending downtime with my family and friends.
We’ll be rounding out the season at these Holiday Markets:
Saturday, December 11
South Milwaukee Holiday Market
Salvation Army, Oak Creek
9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Saturday, December 18
Port Washington Winter Market
Inventor’s Brew Pub
9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Sunday, December 19
Milwaukee Makers Market
Discovery World
10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Psst: We offer event pricing on many of our holiday gift sets at events! (wink, wink)
Live Well. Be Kind.
