Nourish Together - Weekly Newsletter - 11/18/21
Hi, Sweet Friends,
Welcome back to Nourish Together, a compilation of wellness products, practices, tips, and inspiration I'm loving right now. Plus, any updates that I feel are awesome and worth sharing.
I hope you find value in the content.
Recipe of the Week
Grilled vegetables shine in this Orzo Veggies recipe, perfect as a side dish or meatless main. It’s absolutely bursting with flavor!
Recommendation of the Week
(NOT sponsored, just sharing more about a product I use and love.)
We have a Lannon stone fireplace with built-in “shelves” and I’ve never really known how to decorate them. I’ve been slowly collecting decorative pieces to place on the shelves, but the look has never felt complete… until this weekend.
I saw my friends Bradley and Courtney, founders of Lily & Sparrow (formerly, Sozo Interiors), at an event and found the perfect piece to bring everything together. “...and thank you for a house full of people i love. amen.”
Bradley and Courtney handcraft the most beautiful wood signs with messages of hope, encouragement, and love. They hand cut, stain, paint, and router everything themselves.
I encourage you to check them out!
Inspiration
Because YOU MATTER.
Tips for Entrepreneurs
I believe that the majority of winning is starting.
I was reminded of a Nourish post I made 3 years ago (top), back when I was wearing ALL the hats, including “Graphic Designer.”
Design is clearly not one of my gifts, but, you know what… I still tried. I put myself out there.
Now, Nourish is lucky to have Megan Jones as our Creative Director. She is so immensely talented and has significantly elevated our branding (bottom).
My encouragement to you is to just START, no matter where you’re at. You’ll figure it out, you’ll grow, you’ll get better.
The world needs you living in your purpose and passion. GO!!!
Social Impact
It’s very important to me that Nourish continually works to make a difference in our community.
I’m proud to share that this week, we partnered with the incredible Emily Landers of A Little Something A Lot of Love, to donate “Joy Bomb” care packages to mothers at Aurora Grafton Hospital who are going through miscarriages.
Emily’s mission “is to bring a little bit of joy and happiness during such a difficult time and to let other women (and men) know that someone cares, that someone has been through it and has, in fact, come out even stronger.”
Emily has the most beautiful heart and we are proud to stand alongside her in this most loving mission.
