Vegan Blondies
This week's recipe, Vegan Blondies, comes from my dear friend, Hani.
Fun Fact: Hani and her daughter have been models in several Nourish photoshoots! We just love them.
Enjoy this healthier take on traditional Blondies.
Ingredients:
- 1.5 cups rinsed, canned chickpeas
- 1/2 cup nut butter
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- Blend ingredients together.
- Pour into lightly greased (I use avocado oil) 9x9 pan or bread pan.
- Bake for 30-35 min, do toothpick test
- Top with dark chocolate chips
