Nourish Together - Weekly Newsletter - 8/25/21
Hi, Sweet Friends,
Welcome to the new Nourish Together newsletter, a compilation of wellness products, practices, tips, and inspiration I'm loving right now. Plus, any updates that I feel are awesome and worth sharing.
I hope you find value in the content.
Recipe of the Week
I've been bringing Frisee Salad with Pancetta, Avocado, and Soft-Cooked Eggs to the parties we've attended this summer.
If you can't find Frisee, use Romaine instead! It's just as tasty.
Inspiration
I tend to be a people pleaser and say "yes" to most things. Showing up for people and events has served me very well. That being said, as we move into Nourish's busiest time of the year, I'm already starting to feel depleted, and know that I need to be more selective with how I spend my time. I came across the following quote by Warren Buffet, and I'm going to take time to journal about what following his advice might mean for me.
"The difference between successful people and really successful people is that really successful people say no to almost everything."
If you've been practicing saying "no" recently, I'd love to hear what you've learned and how it has impacted your life.
One of My Favorite Things (NOT sponsored, just sharing a product I use and love)
I love, love, love Vital Proteins Collagen and put a scoop in my morning smoothie and then in my evening elixir.
I use collagen to take good care of my gut health. If you're new to collagen, I encourage you to read more about its incredible benefits here.
This product can get pricey, so I buy it from Costco. They have the best pricing I've seen.
Jamie's Weekly Tip for Entrepreneurs
I just finished the book, "Supermaker: Crafting Business on Your Own Terms" by Jaime Schmidt. Jaime is the founder of Schmidt's Deodorant and went on to sell her company to Unilever for $100 million. This book gives an honest and thorough play-by-play of her journey. I highly recommend it for all product-based entrepreneurs.
Fun News
One of our favorite seasonal products will be back at events and on the website on September 2. Stay tuned!
Live well. Be kind.
