I like to share things that light me up, fill me with joy, and make my life easier. Nothing is sponsored. These are just things that are helping me along my journey.

I've not felt very motivated this week.

If I'm honest, I've really only wanted to watch Netflix and read my book.

Maybe it's the rainy weather, and/or the fact that I've been pushing it hard for awhile now.

Regardless, here's how I'm being kind to myself.

1. I'm a very hard working, motivated person most of the time. Since my "tank" isn't full, I'm not pushing it. I'm allowing myself to lounge longer, do less, and sleep more.

2. I've scheduled a few dates with friends to get me out of the house. Connection energizes me.

3. I'm doing shorter workouts like this Legs & Booty Workout and this Barre & Pilates Mat Workout.

4. I'm trusting that my energy will return soon, and in the meantime, I'm honoring my body's request for a slower pace.

Inspiration

Don't worry too much about how you are going to get it all done. Get started, learn as you go, and it will all come to you. Action creates momentum, and momentum energizes you to keep going.

My friends Kristin and Jeanne both recommended this week's recipe.

Jeanne shared that she makes variations of this dish throughout the year, changing up the vegetables with whatever is in season. Right now, she's making it with tomatoes, cucumbers, and corn.

I'm going to make it for my family tonight and add in some chicken.
