I like to share things that light me up, fill me with joy, and make my life easier. Nothing is sponsored. These are just things that are helping me along my journey.
One of my favorite podcasts is, "We Can Do Hard Things with Glennon Doyle.
Tuesday's episode covered, Being Left Out: Navigating the Lifelong Ache.
What most resonated with me was the conversation around how to talk to your kids when they are excluded. It was a great reminder that we don't need to "fix" our kid's challenging emotions or their problems, but rather sit with them in their common humanity and offer them compassion and kindness. The "a ha" moment was that if we try to "fix" the situation, we may be further compounding their feelings of shame and unworthiness.
My other key takeaway was honoring all sides of me. The side of me with the big heart that wants to include everyone. And, the side of me that needs one-on-one connection. There is room for both.
There are so many helpful nuggets in this episode. I highly recommend giving it a listen.

Nourish Pick of the Week
Immunity Roller Blend
Wellness with every roll
I asked a lot of myself these past two weeks and after my last major event on Saturday, my body said, "That's enough," and I fell sick.
I immediately put nature's medicine cabinet into action.
I rolled our Immunity Roller Blend over my throat every few hours. Then, at night, I rolled it all over the bottoms of my feet.
This blend combines all-star essential oils that are natural germ-fighters and immune-boosters.
In just two days, I felt significantly better.
PS - In addition to our Immunity Blend, I used our Congestion Relief Roller Blend at night to help clear my congested airways. I also drank chicken broth and elderberry syrup, and boosted my immune-boosting supplements.
