Recipe of the Week
It’s Nourish’s five year anniversary week, so I wanted to feature a celebratory dessert. These Frozen Chocolate Banana Bites are just the thing! They are super easy to make and a satisfying sweet treat.
Ingredients
4 medium bananas
¼ cup M&Ms or other crushable candy
¼ cup shredded coconut
½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
Line a baking sheet with wax paper. Cut the bananas into 1-inch pieces, discarding the ends. Place banana pieces onto a baking sheet and freeze for 1 hour.
Crush candy; place on a plate. Place coconut on another plate.
In a microwaveable-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips in 30-second increments, stirring well after each, until chocolate is completely smooth.
Remove banana from freezer; dip each piece halfway into chocolate, then roll half of the pieces in crushed candy and the rest in coconut. Place banana pieces back on the baking sheet and freeze for an additional 15 minutes until set.
Enjoy!

Savoring the Good
I’ve been focusing on the mindfulness practice called "savoring the good." It's a beautiful way to cultivate greater appreciation and joy in our lives.
In our busyness, we can overlook the small moments of happiness that occur each day. Savoring the good is about intentionally slowing down and fully immersing ourselves in those positive experiences, no matter how small they may be.
By intentionally savoring the good, we train our minds to notice and appreciate the simple pleasures that often go unnoticed. It's a powerful tool for shifting our focus from what's wrong to what's right, cultivating a more positive mindset and enhancing our overall well-being.
Whether it's relishing a delicious meal, enjoying a beautiful sunset, or savoring the laughter shared with loved ones, this practice invites us to tune in to the sensations, emotions, and gratitude that accompany these experiences. It's about pausing and allowing ourselves to fully absorb the goodness of each moment, cultivating a deeper sense of joy and contentment.
I invite you to take a few moments today to savor the good. Notice the beauty around you, relish the small victories, and embrace the moments of joy that come your way.
Live well. Be kind.
