I like to share things that light me up, fill me with joy, and make my life easier. Nothing is sponsored. These are just things that are helping me along my journey.

The hustle & bustle of this time of year is exhilarating (and exhausting)! I love the energy. I thrive in it. And, then, there comes a point when my mind & body need a break.

Thankfully, I've had the week off from events and this is what I've been doing to recover.
  • I've been honoring my body's need to rest. I'm not a person who regularly naps, but I have been this week, and napping has greatly soothed my nervous system. While settling in to take a nap, I practice breathwork and yoga nidra meditations.
  • I spend quiet time journaling. My favorite practice continues to be writing letters to Love. Through this practice, I feel comforted, guided, and loved.
  • I focus on what matters most. I acknowledge that I just can't do it all, so I get really clear on what matters most. I create a list every morning of what needs to be done and I (mostly) stick to it.
  • I ask for help. From my husband, daughter, teammates, family, and friends. It feels so amazing to know that they've got my back.
  • I set boundaries. I give myself permission to say, "No."
  • I go moon bathing. Scott and I take walks at night under the moonlight. Moon bathing allows us to absorb the calming and healing energies of the moon.
  • I stretch before bed. These are my absolute favorite stretching videos: 15 Min Stretch and 30 Min Stretch.
  • I prioritize taking really good care of myself. I eat healthy foods, I workout, I watch videos that make me laugh, I take my supplements, I wear comfy clothes, I write in my gratitude journal, and I go to bed early.
Friends, I encourage you to explore how you can take really good care of yourself over the coming weeks. You matter. And, I'm cheering for you.
