NOURISH TOGETHER - WEEKLY NEWSLETTER - 10/31/24
Note from Jamie
I like to share things that light me up, fill me with joy, and make my life easier. Nothing is sponsored. These are just things that are helping me along my journey.
Earlier this week, I was in Chicago for a Supplier Summit where I met with people responsible for sourcing products & services for major hospital systems.
I wasn't *completely* out of my league because the Summit was specifically focused on sourcing from small businesses.
That being said, as I listened to the opening remarks and keynote speakers, all I wanted to do was run out of the room, get in my car, and drive back home to comfort and safety.
The people in that room were impressive.
I was humbled.
Friends, I'm proud to share that I stayed. I met with leaders of every hospital system and medical organization. I gave it my best shot.
Will this experience benefit Nourish immediately? I'm not sure.
What I can say with confidence, though, is that I'm glad I put myself out there. I learned a lot. I made connections. I practiced playing at a higher level.
I know that if I want to be good at something, I have to first be willing to be bad at it. It's just part of the process.
Here's to being bold enough to dream and brave enough to try.

Inspiration
Nourish Pick of the Week
As many of you know, I created the Prosperity Roller Blend as an homage to author, Jen Sincero. I read her book, You Are a Badass, right before launching Nourish.
She taught me the importance of switching my mindset from scarcity to abundance.
I roll this blend on before every Nourish event and every important business opportunity.
It reminds me that, "I am a Badass!"

Recipe of the Week
Million Dollar Bacon from First Watch Cafe is a team favorite at lunch meetings.
When one of our teammates found the copycat recipe, tried it, and loved it, we knew we needed to share it with all of you!
Enjoy!
