Note from Jamie

Jamie sitting on a comfortable chair with her knee up and arms draped around it.

I like to share things that light me up, fill me with joy, and make my life easier. Nothing is sponsored. These are just things that are helping me along my journey.

Over the holiday break, I treated myself to several back issues of Magnolia magazine.

The theme of one particular issue was Fortitude. I came upon the following encouragement and thought it was worth sharing.

Maybe you didn't ask for this chapter of your story,
the one that feels like a winding road with no end in sight.
Yet, here you are, with fortitude,
showing up for every turn in the path.

Like a river curving and carving along the edges of the banks,
you are a force to be reckoned with,
here to become who you were always meant to be.

Valentine's Day Cards

Valentine's day cards with pink rainbows and Nourish Lip Balms displayed around it.

I've noticed that stores like Marshall's & Target have started displaying their Valentine's Day products.

Well, if the big "box stores" are ready, then so are we!

We're very excited to again offer our adorable Valentine's Day Card kits that feature a cheeky play on words, "Valentine, You're the Balm!"

You attach one of our best-selling Organic Lip Balms to each card (three designs to choose from) with a glue dot (provided).

Cards are printed on premium stock and there is space to write your name on the bottom. xo

Recipe of the Week

Lemongrass Chicken with Rice & Zucchini

A ceramic bowl containing Lemongrass chicken with rice & zucchini

Oh, friends, this Lemongrass Chicken recipe is DELICIOUS! I highly recommend trying it.

It's incredibly flavorful and immensely satisfying.

Here's how I tweaked the recipe:

I used rotisserie chicken to cut down on time
I bought fresh lemongrass and prepared it like this (you can find lemongrass in the produce section of larger grocery stores)
I used jarred mild jalapeño slices instead of fresh
I served over jasmine rice and topped it with sautéed zucchini
Enjoy!
