Hi, Sweet Friends,
Welcome back to Nourish Together, a compilation of wellness products, practices, tips, and inspiration I'm loving right now. Plus, any updates that I feel are awesome and worth sharing.
I hope you find value in the content.
Recipe of the Week
My parents have an amazing garden and recently gave us a big bag of vine-ripened tomatoes. We made Roasted Heirloom Tomato Soup, a recipe we received in one of our CSA boxes years ago. It was just as good as I remember it!
Of course, we served the soup with gooey grilled cheese sandwiches. Delish!
Inspiration
September has been a tough month for me. While I’m normally a very joyful person, I’ve certainly felt waves of sadness and depletion these past few weeks.
I’ve prioritized self-care and feel like the heaviness is finally lifting. YAY!
There are many things that I do to tend to my emotional health, one of which is taking a heaping dose of Vitamin L... LAUGHTER!
Following are a few things that always leave me in stitches:
- Reels of Corporate Natalie on Instagram (@corporatenatalie)
- Reruns of The Graham Norton Show on YouTube, especially episodes with Chris Pratt, Kevin Hart, and Will Smith
- Episodes of Schitt’s Creek on Netflix
One of My Favorite Things (NOT sponsored, just sharing a product I use and love)
Scott, Emma, and I love watching Shark Tank and regularly try products that we see on the show.
When Lindsay McCormick, founder of Bite, presented, I was immediately drawn to her product and mission. Lindsay wanted to invent an all-natural toothpaste product that helped reduce the billions of tubes that end up in landfills each year.
Bite toothpaste bits are pressed tablets that come in a glass jar. To use them, you bite down on the tablet and then brush with a wet toothbrush. The tablet turns into the perfect foam that is very similar to a conventional toothpaste.
All-Natural. Cruelty-Free. Plastic-Free. Zero-Waste. Vegan Friendly.
I absolutely love them and have been using them for over a year now.
Jamie's Weekly Tip for Entrepreneurs
One of the most impactful books I’ve ever read is, “You Are A Badass” by Jen Sincero.
I read the book after I was laid-off from my nearly 20-year career in Corporate America. It helped me shift my mindset from one of scarcity to one of abundance. It helped me see opportunities everywhere!
Shortly after finishing the book, I launched Nourish.
Fun Fact: Our “Manifest Abundance: The Prosperity Blend w/ Citrine Crystals” is my homage to Jen Sincero. I’m forever grateful.
