NOURISH TOGETHER - WEEKLY NEWSLETTER - 8/31/23
This summer, I’m sharing all sorts of things that light me up, fill me with joy, and make my life easier. Nothing is sponsored. I’m just sharing things that are helping me along my journey.
I spent the majority of my life as a “people pleaser.” For the last 5 years, I’ve been on a journey of healing this part of me and leaning into the practices of self-compassion and self-kindness. Following are resources that have helped me along the way:
- Mindful Self-Compassion Training by Jamie Lynn Tatera of Wholly Mindful
- Journey to the Heart by Melody Beattie
- You Are A Badass by Jen Sincero
- Insight Timer
- We Can Do Hard Things Podcast by Glennon Doyle

Intensive Healing Balm
Soothe. Soften. Protect
I’m so proud of our Intensive Healing Balm. It’s a multitasking stick of skin healing power!
Scott, Emma, and I all use it on the daily to: heal bruises, blisters, bites, and scrapes, minimize blemishes and dark spots, soothe hangnails, reduce facial redness, prevent scarring, moisturize chapped lips, reduce itchiness, soothe razor burn, and so much more.
It also fills my heart to hear that so many of you use it on your skin rashes and eczema, saying that it’s the only thing that has ever worked for you.
Psst: Our Intensive Healing Balm and Boo Boo Super Balm are the exact same product. They just have different labels. The Boo Boo Super Balm label was designed for kids… and, kids-at-heart!

Recipe of the Week
This Roasted Heirloom Tomato Soup recipe is from Wellspring Farm. I participated in their CSA program 15 years ago and I’ve held onto the recipe ever since. It's that good!
The caramelized tomatoes, onions, and garlic make this soup incredibly flavorful. It’s a perfect way to use the tomatoes you’re harvesting from your garden right now.
Enjoy!
Live well. Be kind.
