I am reading the book, Flourish, written by a dear friend of mine who encourages you to look for the joy in your life. One of her suggested activities is to take yourself on a weekly “Joy Date.”
Last Friday, I spent the afternoon at the Wisconsin State Fair and experienced all sorts of joyful moments: watching the Kids from Wisconsin, riding the Big Swings, enjoying delicious Fair Food, and so much more!
“Joy Dates” can be big or small. What brings you joy? I encourage you to take yourself out on a "Joy Date." It’s so much fun!

Nourish Pick of the Week
I spend a lot of time outside during the summer and love soothing my sun-drenched skin with our aloe-infused Cooling Spray.
On really hot days, I use it as a moisturizing body lotion after my shower. I store it in the fridge for an extra dose of cooling sensation.
Emma uses the spray at night to cool herself so she can fall asleep more easily.

Recipe of the Week
These Parmesan Zucchini Fries were a huge hit at our house!
They were the perfect way to use the zucchinis that friends and family shared with us from their gardens.
Plus, it was such a treat to have homemade Ranch Dressing.
Due to our dietary sensitivities, we don't usually have Ranch in our house. This recipe is Paleo, dairy-free, and gluten-free. And, 100% delicious.
