Jamie's List

I like to share things that light me up, fill me with joy, and make my life easier. Nothing is sponsored. These are just things that are helping me along my journey.

I have a tendency to live fast-paced, so it's important for me to slow down, reflect, and savor.

Over the next few days, I'm going to journal and be intentional about what served me (and what didn't) over the past year.

I searched for year-end reflection questions as a source of inspiration. Following are journaling prompts that really resonated with me.

  1. What were moments of joy that I experienced?
  2. What strengths did I discover in myself?
  3. How have my challenges shaped me?
  4. Who made a difference in my life?
  5. What risks did I take ? How did they turn out?
  6. What new opportunities became available?
  7. How did I positively impact the lives of others?
  8. What new skills did I gain this year?
  9. What lessons did this year teach me?
  1. How did I step out of my comfort zone?
Do you have questions you reflect on at the end of each year? If so, I'd love to hear.

Inspirations

One year from now, I want to be able to look back and say, "Damn, I really did believe in myself and it worked."

Nourish Pick of the Week

Sage Smudge Spray w/ Black Tourmaline Crystals

This time of year can be a lot. If you're feeling it, please know that you're not alone.

In addition to the typical holiday stress, I've been dealing with a few heartbreaking situations.

My husband can sense when I'm having a tough day and he spritzes the house with Sage Smudge Spray.

It really does make a difference. When I smell the sage, lavender, and cedarwood essential oils, I feel more hopeful and uplifted. The "funkiness" clears.

It's the perfect self-care tool as we head into the new year. Protect yourself and your space.

Recipe of the Week

Paleo Pumpkin Bread French Toast

Paleo French Toast with a slab of butter and syrup on a black plate on an orange table.

This Paleo Pumpkin Bread French Toast recipe was the first Paleo recipe I made when Scott and I decided to live a Paleo lifestyle.

It's not a fast recipe, but, it sure is delicious! We decided if this is what it means to be Paleo, we're in for it!

Enjoy!
